Hey everyone! WELCOME to the new Diane Chase website!

Hope you have all been well!  This last year has been a busy one for me touring overseas and putting the final touches on the CD.  It took a little longer than anticipated but we feel that "Gettin' There" was definitely worth the wait.

Our last show in Kandahar was fantastic and thankfully uninterrupted by the Taliban. The crowd was great and very enthusiastic, not to mention appreciative! A great time was had by all and I've received emails since from soldiers that attended thanking us for taking the time to come over here to entertain and visit with them. It is most definitely one of the most gratifying things I've ever done in my life.

Just wanted to let you know that we did an interview with all of the press here today so if you tune in to either Global, CBC or CTV tonight at 6:00 and/or 11:00 you'll see a segment about us being here to entertain the troops. I'm not sure what footage they'll show but you can get some insight as to where we are. Should be cool!

Well, we never made it to our show at The PRT yesterday, or the FOB (Forward Operating Base) because of safety concerns. We were all extremely disappointed....but of course safety comes first.
